More 1000 Pugs

This isn't from the Botanical Gardens - we don't have any pictures from there.
This is the wisteria in our yard.

After our near-drowning on Saturday, and cancellation of our shoot times, we were all looking forward to nicer weather. And, as is typical of Texas, we waited a few hours and the weather completely changed.

So we headed off to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. Payton and her parents had already headed home, so it was just me, Arnie and Suki. We got to the gardens as the rain let up, and met a pug and his dad, waiting for his shoot. They'd driven all the way from San Antonio for their appointment. But they hadn't come the furthest. A lady and her pugs drove all the way from Missouri. Talk about Pug Crazy!

The gardens were beautiful. We walked around taking pictures (which, of course, aren't here. Again, no photos. I'll let you know when Suki's mom puts some up.....). Thank's Payton, for letting me know there are photos at Short Tails. I was a little bummed, because I was pretty sure we were there to do agility, and all we did was take pictures and talk to people and pugs. We got to see Pug and his mom, and Tiffy's mom, again.

Mom and Suki's mom decided to check out downtown Grapevine, and have a little lunch. But only THEM - we had to stay in the car. I would have liked flatbread and wine. What the heck? They seemed to enjoy the break, then we went back over to gardens.

When we got back, we found Maggie the Pug from Dallas and her mom. We've seen her in the blog world forever, and were so glad they got a spot. They were both sooooo nice, and we had so much fun laughing and talking with them.

Before we knew it, it was time to head home. Our big day was tomorrow, and we had to rest up.

Forecast for Monday? Sunny and 80 degrees. Gotta love Texas.....

  1. Hi Gracie,
The pictures are up on Suki's blog and they are so great! Looks like you all had a blast even though there weren't any jumps or tunnels. Maybe next time? Looking forward to seeing you and Arnie model for Miss Amanda!
    Love,
    Payton
