Warning to DIVA's

I know I'm all about being well trained. But I do have my Diva moments. And that attitude got me into some hot water this morning. So for everyone's well being, I'm going to give you a DIVA Warning.

1. Do not bust past the baby gate in the hallway. Especially when mom's already yelled at you a million times for doing that. As the parents say: it's there for a reason.

2. Do not shove open the bedroom door. Even if you've figured out how to do it. Especially when mom's already yelled at you a million times for doing that. As the parents say: it's closed for a reason.

3. Do not jump onto the bed for a nap. Even if you do it quietly, and snuggle in quickly so nobody can see you. Especially when mom's already yelled at you a million times for doing that. As the parents say: it's not your personal bed.

4. Do NOT growl at mom when she comes to lift you off the bed. Even if you were comfy and cozy, and she gave you ample warning to leave. It will only get you thrown into doggie jail (the crate) with no treats. And a stern warning.

Will I learn my lesson. HA - doubtful. I am a DIVA after all.

  1. Oh Gracie, Gracie, Gracie
    We are such kindred spirits.
I am thrown into "jail" all the time for the same infractions. Add to that "accidentally" knocking a plate off a low table and "cleaning" up the resulting mess. I was only trying to be helpful.
    Sheesh. Pawrents!!!!

  2. Gracie, poor Gracie! Thrown in jail...how horrible! I have to admit that I am an offender too. Try to knock down baby gate when my mom is mopping the floor, check. Open closed bathroom door, check. Sleep in the "big" bed, check. Although, they have to admit the last one is my dad's fault since he brought me into their bed as a puppy. And Noodles, a big check to knocking over plates of food. That is probably my biggest offense. My mom says I get way too aggressive [but not in a growling, mean way] when food is near.

  3. I can sing the blues with you sister! We are allowed in the bed, but if I get at all growly over any little thing I get in some MAJOR trouble.
I just don't see what the trouble was..see, you were practicing your agility by jumping the gate.

  4. Looks like I'm in good company. I never tried the knock the plate off trick. I just sit and beg.

I should have jumped the gate. Instead I push past it, and mom can hear it scrape. Gotta work on that.

  5. Uh oh, in jail without no jail. I think you were wrongfully imprisoned!

  6. You need accomplices. Our kitty brothers and sisters knock the gate down for us. Then we mosey on through.
We've always slept in the big bed. It's our right as pugs. If mom ever finds us a dad, he can sleep in the crate. Or get us all a big big bed.
